Our Halloween Dance with the Mitch Lazer British Invasion was a smashing success, people had gobs of fun and the dance floor was hoppin’ as always.
This is a very exciting and positive time at the SSAC, so please come to the Fall General Membership meeting at 1 pm October 23rd and make your opinions known. This is your Centre. Help us make the right decisions, to make this a prosperous and joyful place.

An overflow crowd attended the first in our Fall lecture series – a dynamic Dr. Elizabeth Dean talked about how we can live longer by changing our diets.
The Haight-Ashbury dance was another fun evening with lots of smiles and dancing to great music. We had lots of Hippies around!
On September 11, Porpoise Bay Provincial Park hosted an enriching Accessible Nature Well-being Program, tailored for individuals with cognitive challenges.
The Sunshine Coast has a critical shortage of accessible transportation and that many individuals are “shut-ins” either from a lack of resources or dependence on others. We at the SSAC have a plan to be of help.
There has been an overwhelming positive response to our donation campaign launched last September. At the time of writing, you have so generously gifted a total of $72,334.26 in the three programs combined.
